💛 My Review

I was gifted the New Testament volume of the She Reads Truth Notetaking Bible from Lifeway Christian Resources, and I have to say—I was genuinely surprised when I first opened it.

This is not a small, carry-it-in-your-purse kind of Bible.

Each page is a full 8½ x 11 inches, bound together with a beautiful gold metal spiral that’s nearly two inches in diameter. It truly feels more like a study companion than a traditional Bible—and that’s actually what makes it so special.

Because of its size, you’re given nearly 3½-inch margins on the outer edges of each page… and that space changes everything.

It creates room to slow down.

Room to write.

Room to respond to what you’re reading instead of just moving past it.

And the spiral binding? It’s one of my favorite features. It lays completely flat—or can even be folded back on itself—so you’re only working with one page at a time. No fighting pages, no awkward positioning—just a smooth, open space to sit with Scripture and engage it without distraction.

From the moment I opened it, I noticed how approachable it feels.

Because I’ve always been a firm believer that we’re not meant to cherry-pick verses out of Scripture and try to make them stand alone. We need to understand God’s Word in its proper context—when it was written, who it was written to, and why.
